The Sailors of Dublin Bay Twentyones have a full season of regular DBSC races, Sunday sails plus Regattas and visits to other harbours. There will also be Talks, Social Occasions and other events for its members over the winter.

NYC Cruising group safety seminar
- 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM; Viking marine: essential and developing safety gear
- 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM: Kenny Rumble, INSS and John White give their presentation on a man overboard incident that occurred at night during the round Ireland race. This is a gripping story where the use of modern technology proved crucial
- 12:00 AM to 1:30 PM: joint Coast Guard and RNLI demonstration showcasing the equipment and technology used by the search and rescue organizations. This will be a live rescue simulation with a focus on the capabilities of the Coast Guard drone and interagency cooperation. I anticipate this will be a huge benefit to cruising skippers and sailors as it will inform them of the proper approach to take when issuing a Mayday and how the agencies react and the information they require. (This demonstration will be subject to the potential of a “call out”, for a rescue, as they are always “on call”.)
- 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM: Solace marine demonstration of lifeboat and rescue flare deployment.
- 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM: the RNLI will have officers there who can do a full life jacket check for those who wish to avail of it. So please remember to bring your life jacket with you.
- 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM: skipper and crew briefing and presentation of passage plan to the Isle of Man, for the upcoming National Yacht Club Rally on the 24th of May.
